Well… we got # Helene. 

No power or Internet at home and area is under a boil water advisory. We got a hotel for a couple of days. Please keep my family ( and a good part of our state) in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks.

And the alert about boiling water is over, but it’s unbelievable seeing how places got damaged.

We’re okay, our power won’t be back on until maybe Friday or Saturday but we no longer need to boil water.

Thanks. Yeah… it’s pretty unbelievable seeing trees and lines down. And there’s places here that got washed out. We’re in a hotel ( with power, water, and Internet) not too far from home for a few days. Might not get our power back until maybe Friday.



It makes my heart happy though seeing neighbors and everybody stepping up and helping out. 🩷



Fun fact- I actually was thinking the other day, “ how would the OuAT folks deal with a major situation like this?”

I'm very glad y'all were able to get to safety. <3 We stayed home during Ivan, and I'm telling ya, if something (God forbid!!) ever comes our way again like that, I am SO not staying again, no matter what it takes!! We literally woke up the next morning to our neighbors screaming our names! All they could see were the downed trees all around our house and thought we were dead within!

And to think I went out on the porch in the MIDDLE of the storm after a cat who'd managed to get out!

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

A hurricane might not be much if the OUAT had their usual Sorcerers, and other magic-users, but likewise, a pissed off magic user could easily whip one up!
